Today, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got acquainted with the activities of the Project Office. The project office located in the EXPO town will contribute to the implementation of reforms and strategic initiatives undertaken in the country.
The Project Office develops solutions for the high-quality implementation of the President's messages and priorities of the national development plan of Kazakhstan.
Here, Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai told the President about the implementation of strategically important projects aimed at the development of Mangystau region.
- As part of ensuring the socio-economic development of the Mangystau region, we set ourselves an ambitious goal: improving the main economic indicators of the region - diversifying the structure of the region's economy, improving the well-being of the population, including increasing the number of new jobs, and systematically implementing investment projects, which will increase the volume of foreign investment.
To this end, we have explored the possibility of using the Acceleration method. Its application will have a positive effect on achieving the set goals and objectives in an operational mode. Our goals are not limited to speeding up processes. The main task is to ensure the long—term development of the region through structural changes," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
