In 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted 21 events using the "controlled delivery" method, of which 19 events were internal and two were external.
As a result, 94 internal drug supply channels were identified, 55 of which are related to synthetic substances. More than 137 kg of synthetic drugs and two tons of precursors were seized.

Together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, two external operations were conducted in the Zhambyl region, which made it possible to stop two transnational drug channels. More than 16 kg of hashish were seized. Work in this direction continues," said Daniyar Meyrhan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Combating Drug Crime at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In total, about eight thousand drug offenses were detected last year, including 3,430 crimes. 13 criminal cases have been initiated for the creation and management of the organized criminal group.
Seven facts of the organization and maintenance of a brothel for the use of narcotic substances were suppressed. More than 21 tons of drugs were seized, including 547 kg of synthetics, 2.5 kg of heroin, more than 10 tons of marijuana, 572 kg of hashish. 63 drug laboratories have been liquidated. 7,400 Internet resources containing information about drug distribution have been identified.
