A forum of rural akims was held in Bukhar-Zhyrau district of Karaganda region. Issues of rural development and support for the agricultural sector were discussed at the meeting. The main attention was paid to the changes in the implementation of the Auyl Amanaty program.
In his Message to the people of Kazakhstan, the President of the country set the task of increasing the share of processed products in the agro-industrial complex to 70% within three years. In this regard, rural service and production cooperatives play a major role.
Akims of rural districts work directly with residents and know their needs. Such meetings are a good opportunity to jointly discuss issues that will improve the quality of life and social well–being of the villagers.
The speakers talked about the possibilities of using commodity loans and the interaction of large companies with farmers.
– An agreement was recently signed between the Akimat of the Karaganda region and large enterprises. This gave an impetus to the development of agricultural production. Our district has signed a memorandum with Qarmet JSC, and in the near future, local agricultural products will be supplied to feed the company's employees. This year we plan to conclude similar memoranda with other large companies. This is significant support from the state," said Yerlan Kusayin, Akim of Bukhar–Zhyrau district.
In addition, a "Project Office" has been established in the district to promptly resolve issues under the Auyl Amanaty program and implement new projects. It was headed by Kairat Kozhakhmetuly, Vice–President of the Kazakh Association of Business Incubators and Innovation Centers, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences.
