The Department of Industry and Industrial and Innovative Development of the Karaganda region was headed by Askar Gazaliev.
Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev announced the personnel changes at a staff meeting.
Askar Gazaliev has been in public service since 2009. He worked in various positions in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He held the positions of Chief Consultant, Chief Inspector of the Regional Development Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since April 2024, he has been working as a regional inspector of the Department of Regional Development and Control of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
