Students of rural schools of the Karaganda region won 10 medals and four diplomas at the II Republican Olympiad in natural sciences and mathematics. The students demonstrated their knowledge in mathematics, physics, biology, geography and computer science.
According to the results of all rounds, Kamila Toleukhanova from Bukhar-Zhyrau district won gold. She participated in the Biology Olympiad.
Silver medals in mathematics and physics were won by Asylzhan Koykatov and Yerasyl Igilik from the Shet district.
Bronze in mathematics in the piggy bank of Batyrkhan Alpysbai and Aibibi Musakhmetova. They are also from the Shet district.
Residents of the Osakarovsky district Konstantin Kalashnikov and Maxim Safin, as well as Yulia Pilipenko from the Abai district, received the award of the same dignity in computer science.
Islam Kurmanbai from Shet district became the bronze medalist in physics, and Ernar Nurmukhamet from Nurinsky district became the geography medalist.
In total, 221 Kazakhstani schoolchildren took prizes at the Olympiad.
