Deputy Akim of the region Nurbol Turashbekov held an operational meeting with the heads of the supervised industries, defining the tasks for the working week. He instructed the Department of Agriculture, together with the district and city akimats, to step up explanatory work among farmers on changes in the areas of subsidies and the benefits of introducing new technologies.
By the end of 2024, 62 cooperatives were created in the Turkestan region. Of these, 37 have received financing: 23 cooperatives have purchased equipment for maintenance, and 14 have launched processing plants. As a result, 148 people are provided with permanent jobs. The Auyl Amanaty (Village Heritage) project, focused on cooperation, will be continued this year.
As part of the first stage of rehabilitation of water facilities, 14 projects have been proposed involving the concreting of 166 kilometers of water channels. The full implementation of these projects will improve the water supply to the adjacent 53.3 thousand hectares of land. The heads of the enterprises "Turan Su" and "Kazsushar" were instructed to provide a detailed analysis of the channels that have undergone mechanical cleaning, as well as those that require cleaning.
Analyzing the approved plan for 2025, Nurbol Turashbekov noted: "The expected indicators should not be perceived as a limit. With proper coordination of work and the maximum use of all opportunities, it is possible to achieve results exceeding expectations. Don't limit your potential. Before the start of spring field work, provide farmers and farmers with as much information as possible about government programs, and prepare legal explanations in accordance with the legislation."
The meeting also discussed issues of executive discipline in the departments and reviewed reports on protocol orders.
