The Clean Kazakhstan program continues to be implemented on an ongoing basis in the Turkestan region. According to the approved plan, more than 800 large-scale clean-up events have been held in the region to date. More than 299,000 people took part in the actions, and over 1,500 pieces of equipment were involved. More than 1 million trees have also been planted and about 3,000 tons of garbage have been removed. This was announced at a staff meeting chaired by Akim of the region Nuralkhan Kusherov.
The head of the region instructed to systematically continue work on cleaning, landscaping and landscaping, and also stressed the need for high-quality organization of events in this area. In addition, he noted that work will continue in the settlements to maintain cleanliness, improve environmental literacy and conduct awareness-raising activities.
At the meeting, the first deputy akim of the region, Zulpikhar Zholdasov, reported on the results of the work within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign. According to him, the implementation of the program is under constant control.
To date, the Telegram Bot regional platform has received 859 applications and requests. Most of the requests have been completed. Since last year, more than 26,702 protocols have been drawn up for violations of legal requirements in public places, which is 2 times more than in 2023. The total amount of fines imposed amounted to 318.5 million tenge. Work on the program will continue.
