In order to promote a healthy lifestyle through the development of mass sports, the Kys-2025 regional marathon was held as part of the Year of Working Professions and the 60th anniversary of the Shardara district. About 200 people took part in the marathon, the running distance was 3 kilometers from Abai Square to the Central Stadium.
Akim of the district Arman Karsybayev took part in the event and wished the participants good luck.
"The Head of State declared 2025 the Year of Working Professions, and I sincerely congratulate you on the opening of the regional marathon "Shardara audandyk Kys-2025", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the formation of the Shardara district. Today we met at a marathon organized as part of an important and significant event in our district. This is not only a sports festival, but also a celebration of will and courage. I am glad that such a large-scale event is taking place in the Shardara district. This marathon promotes mass sports and a healthy lifestyle. I am sure that such measures will contribute to the development of mass sports in our country," said the akim of the district.
The first marathon runners who overcame the distance and crossed the finish line received letters of thanks, medals and valuable prizes from the akim of the district. The best men and women competed individually.
In particular, Saken Adyrbai became the best among men, who took the first place, Zabi Yerasyl took the second place, and Rasbai Gabi won the bronze. Among women, Eleanor Tazetdinova took the first place, Laura Kenzhebekkyzy took silver, and Erman Akniet took the third place.
