In Shymkent, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azhar Sagandykova held a meeting with the chairmen of ethnic and cultural associations and discussed topical issues of interethnic relations.

The Chairmen shared their thoughts on methods of preserving national values, promoting the traditions of each ethnic group and fostering patriotism among young people. They noted the need to increase knowledge about the culture and history of the Kazakh people, as well as strengthen mutual understanding and unity between different ethnic groups.

During the conversation, issues of interethnic communication were raised. The Chairmen noted the importance of interethnic harmony in Kazakhstan and noted that representatives of different nationalities living in the country should treat each other with respect.
The issue of increasing the wages of working citizens was also raised.

At the end of the meeting, the deputy noted that she supports the work of ethno-cultural associations, and is working together to preserve national accord.
