According to the results of ten months of 2024, Kazakhstan has a positive growth trend in fixed capital investments (IOC) in the tourism sector. During this period, the volume of IOC amounted to 668.1 billion tenge, which is 33.6% more than in the same period last year, when the volume of investments amounted to 499.8 billion tenge.
In 2023, the total volume of IOC in the tourism industry amounted to 787 billion tenge, and in 2022 – 513 billion tenge. These data indicate the growing interest of investors in the country's tourism potential.
"The increase in investments in the tourism sector shows the steady interest of business in the development of the industry. The creation of modern infrastructure in key tourist regions will allow Kazakhstan to strengthen its position on the international tourist map," Chairman of the Committee of the Tourism Industry Nurtas Karipbayev said.
