A meeting with Islam Satpayev, a master of sports of international class in bullet shooting, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, was held at the Military Engineering Institute of Radioelectronics and Communications in Almaty.
The distinguished guest was given a tour of the institute, telling about the areas of training, the achievements of the cadets and innovative approaches in the training of cadets. The athlete showed particular interest in the electronic shooting range, having personally tested modern equipment. Islam Satpayev noted that modern technologies allow not only to develop skills, but also to improve the accuracy and concentration needed both in sports and in military service.
At a meeting with the cadets, Islam Satpayev told how discipline, perseverance and self-belief helped him achieve sporting heights. Islam Satpayev has won a silver medal at the 2023 World Cup, the 2021 Asian Championship title and many other international awards.
In a conversation with future officers, Islam noted that bullet shooting develops self-control, self-control and the ability to maintain concentration in any conditions.
– Every victory is the result of long and hard work. It is important to always believe in yourself and go towards your goal, despite the difficulties. Sport, like service, requires maximum dedication and the ability to hold a punch when something goes wrong,– said I. Satpayev.
At the end of the meeting, the Olympic medalist wished the cadets to set ambitious goals and achieve them. He stressed that failures are only part of the path, and they are the ones that build character and make a person stronger.
