The "No Drugs" service works in the Smart Astana application. Through him, Astana residents have already received more than 200 appeals about drug graffiti, 197 Internet resources related to drug trafficking were sent to block, the official website of the city akimat reports.
Since the beginning of the year, the Metropolitan Police Department has recorded 1,067 crimes related to drug trafficking.
A separate problem is the advertising of drugs in the form of drug graffiti on the walls of residential buildings, buildings, structures and underpasses. To combat this, the Astana Police Department, together with the Center for Sustainable Development, have developed the "No Drugs" information service, which is available in the Smart Astana and E-knot applications.
The "No Drugs" service in the Smart Astana application helps residents to actively combat illegal advertising and distribution of narcotic drugs. It provides a simple and effective way to report violations such as drug graffiti and bookmarks, as well as promptly transmit information to law enforcement agencies. Users can easily upload photos or specify a location, which greatly speeds up the police response. This initiative not only contributes to the creation of a safe urban environment, but also raises public awareness of the importance of combating drug crime.
To use the service and help in the fight against advertising and drug trafficking, you need to follow these steps:
1. Install the Smart Astana app through the App Store or Google Play and register.
2. On the main page of the application, select the "Popular" section.
3. Go to the subsection "Send a message "No drugs".
4. Fill out the application form, specifying the phone number, full name, address (street and house number), the text of the application, as well as attach photos or video materials documenting the violation.
5. Send an appeal — the information is automatically sent to the Department of the Local Police Service (UMPS) of the Astana City Police Department for immediate consideration and appropriate measures.
All requests are processed promptly, and measures will be taken in accordance with the law for each violation.
