New approaches to the appointment of targeted social assistance (TSA) are coming into force in Kazakhstan, which will make the process more transparent and accessible to citizens in need, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
When calculating the TSA, all types of family income for the quarter preceding the month of application are taken into account. These can be salaries, social benefits, alimony, and other income.
The amount of the TSA is assigned for the current quarter and is paid monthly based on the conclusions of precinct commissions established under the district akimats of Astana.
From 2025, an additional payment will be introduced for each child aged one to six years in the amount of 5,898 tenge (1.5 MCI), which is added to the assigned amount of the TSA.
In addition, a pilot project covering the entire territory of Kazakhstan will be launched from January 2025. As part of the project, citizens will be able to transfer data about their bank accounts through an Interbank Information Exchange System using open software interfaces (Open API). This will speed up the process of assigning help.
For the preliminary calculation of the TSA, it is necessary to contact the Career Center of the Akimat of Astana at the address: Beibitshilik str., 9, office 137.
Opening hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 (lunch break: from 13:30 to 14:30).
