THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH HAS DEVELOPED TRAINING PROGRAMS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE YEAR OF ADVANCED TRAINING OF MEDICAL WORKERS

Within the framework of the" year of advanced training of medical workers "initiative, the Ministry of Health has developed a comprehensive plan" Personnel Support: balance and accessibility " to improve the level of knowledge and professional skills of primary education specialists - doctors, paramedics, nurses, teaching staff of medical universities and colleges.
Within the framework of the Year of working professions announced by the head of state in 2025, special attention will be paid to the level of educational programs in medical colleges and professional competencies of secondary medical personnel with a focus on practice in the field of healthcare.
Together with educational and scientific organizations, a plan for professional development of PHC specialists has been developed, which consists of 5 main areas:
- Formation of a regulatory framework for professional development of PHC specialists;
- Professional development of PHC specialists (general practitioners and nurses);
- professional development of the teaching staff of medical universities and medical colleges
- improvement of the professional development system;
- creation of adaptation and mentoring Centers for young professionals.
Training programs are developed taking into account the latest medical advances and technologies, as well as changes in legislative and regulatory acts. Each course includes theoretical and mainly practical classes, as well as self-study.
The new training program is planned to cover more than 2.5 thousand general practitioners with less than 3 years of work experience. The topics of modules for training will be developed on the basis of medical universities based on the analysis of testing of this category of students.
Within the framework of this plan, more than 3.5 thousand nurses will improve their skills. Training modules for secondary medical personnel are developed in such key areas as prevention and dispensary control, patronage and care of early childhood children, assistance in severe cases, the work of a nurse in the implementation of universities, immunoprophylaxis and digital technologies.
More than 1,600 teachers of medical colleges take advanced training courses. Their training takes place taking into account the results of independent exam grades. It is envisaged to train teachers of medical universities based on their pedagogical experience, pedagogical competencies and the results of an independent assessment of knowledge.
"Professional training of medical workers is the basis of the quality of medical care in the country. Within the framework of the year of advanced training, we are aimed at creating effective and affordable programs that will help PHC specialists, our teachers to improve their competence and ensure a high level of medical care and training of future doctors," health minister Akmaral Alnazarova said during the presentation of a comprehensive plan for advanced training of medical workers.
The new courses will be organized throughout 2025 with the support of leading medical centers, industry-specific freelance specialists and educational platforms. All participants of the program receive certificates of advanced training, which are recognized in the healthcare system.
