First Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan Akmadi Sarbasov met with the Director of the European Education Foundation Pilvi Torsti. During the dialogue, the parties discussed the development of the National Qualifications System (hereinafter – NSC) in Kazakhstan, as well as prospects for cooperation in the field of professional qualifications within the framework of the project "Dialogue and Action for skilled youth in Central Asia".
In his speech, Akmadi Sarbasov spoke about Kazakhstan's achievements in the development of the NSC and its role in training personnel and improving the efficiency and competitiveness of specialists in the labor market.
In turn, Pilvi Torsti noted that the high achievements of the ministry in this area open up prospects for the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Education Foundation.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation.
Recall that the European Education Foundation is an agency of the European Union. The organization supports the neighboring countries of the European Union in reforming their education, training and labor markets.
