"Shyrga Tartu": the fastest puppy taza was chosen in the Karaganda region

The season of traditional Shyrga Tartu competitions has started in the Karaganda region. Attention was focused on the fastest and most agile puppies of the Kazakh breed Taza.
In the village of Botakara, Bukhar-Zhyrau district, breeders gathered to show their pets in action and find out which of them is faster.
The competition was the debut for 27 puppies between the ages of 8 and 11 months, who had previously only trained, acquiring the necessary skills. The dogs came not only from the districts of Karaganda region, but also from Bayanauli district of Pavlodar region.
One of the organizers of the competition, Bekzat Mustafin, has been breeding dogs of this breed for more than 10 years.
— The Kazakh tazy is the most enduring and the best hunting dog, which has no equal in durability, — says Bekzat Mustafin. — You can count on the basins, they are a faithful companion. She will accompany the hunter tirelessly from morning to night.
According to akim of the village of Botakar Zhanat Kabkenov, the main goal of the competition is to revive national traditions and popularize the unique qualities of Kazakh taza.
The race was held at a distance of 1.2 kilometers.
Tazy from Karaganda, named Sary, became the fastest. Its owner is Bakhytzhan Zhumazhanov. The second place went to Zuzu from the village of Baymyrza. The owner is Nurdaulet Myrzakanov. And the bronze is in the treasury of Temirtau Zara. The breeder is Kazybek Bazhirov.
The winners were awarded with cups, medals and cash prizes, and there are new competitions ahead in the village of Nura, Nurinsky district, where basins of different ages will participate in the races.
