A final meeting was held in the Mangystau region, where the results of police activities for 2024 were summarized. The event was attended by Akim of the region Nurlaulet Kilybai, head of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kozhaev, prosecutor of the region Aidos Mailybaev. During the meeting, key achievements of the internal affairs bodies were discussed, as well as issues requiring attention in 2025.
3176 criminal offenses have been registered in the region. The level of crimes such as theft, robbery, hooliganism and juvenile delinquency has decreased significantly.
The criminal and socio-political situation in the region remains stable, and police work is aimed at further ensuring security and public order.
126 kilograms of narcotic drugs were seized from illegal traffic, 768 graffiti inscriptions were destroyed and 610 Internet resources related to drug trafficking were blocked. The police detained 1,016 drunk drivers at the wheel.
According to the results of the activity for the year, Mangystau region took the first place in crime detection among the regions of Kazakhstan.
Sagyndyk Ayaganov, Head of the Department of Mangystau Region, noted that 2025 was declared the year of prevention by Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov and gave a number of instructions to pay special attention to drug addiction prevention, combating fraud, reducing the number of traffic accidents, preventing theft and other property crimes.
Following the event, the police officers, who distinguished themselves by their impeccable service, received letters of thanks from the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akim of the region, the prosecutor of the region and the rights of the head of the police department.
The head of the Mangystau district police department, who achieved the best results of operational activities in 2024, was awarded a company car.
