In order to further develop the domestic value and support domestic producers in large oil and gas projects, the Ministry of Energy, together with the Authorized Body, is working on the introduction of electronic procurement by large operators of oil and gas projects in the Production Sharing Agreements for the North Caspian and Karachaganak projects.
As part of the ongoing work, on December 18, 2024, the Operator of the North Caspian Project launched the E-procurement electronic procurement system, covering tender processes, from the moment of submitting an application from a potential supplier of goods, works and services to the conclusion of relevant contracts.
The implementation of a full-fledged cycle, from the stage of concluding and maintaining such agreements to its completion, is scheduled for the first half of 2025.
