Social facilities have been actively built in the Sairam district in recent years, many of which have already been handed over to local residents. Currently, road works aimed at repairing streets with poor pavement quality have significantly intensified in rural settlements of the district.
In particular, last year, the overhaul of 25.5–33.8 kilometers of the highway of regional significance KH-3 "Koksayek–Aksu–Shayan–Shynbulak" began. Completion of these works is planned for the current year.
Last year, the KX-40 highway "Aksu–Mankent–Zhibek Zholy" was overhauled, and average repairs were carried out on five district streets with a total length of 26.3 km. To date, in the village of Akbai, Karasus rural district, one of the district roads has already been put into operation, and the completion of repairs of the remaining four roads has been postponed to 2025.
In 2024, funds will be allocated under the Auyl–El Besigi program to repair 60 streets in the settlements of the district. According to the results of last year, repairs of 45 streets with a length of 55.5 km were completed, and this year work on average repairs on 15 streets will continue.
In order to prevent traffic accidents and increase the proportion of roads in good and satisfactory condition, a proposal was sent to the branch office to allocate funds for the average repair of six roads of regional significance and 26 internal streets.
It should be noted that the total length of public roads and streets of settlements in the Sairamsky district is 1,298.1 km. Of these, roads of regional significance are 183.9 km, district significance – 140.5 km, and streets of settlements – 951.7 km.
