In accordance with the instructions of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the "Games of the Future", a specialized Directorate was established on the basis of Kazsportinvest Joint Stock Company. The Directorate's task is to organize and hold the "Games of the Future" international multi-sports tournament, which will be held in Astana in 2026.

The event, which will be initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will be a significant event in the country's sports.

It should be noted that on October 13, 2024, at an official ceremony in Dubai (UAE), Kazakhstan was awarded the right to host the Phygital Games of the Future, a unique tournament combining traditional sports and e-sports, in 2026. In addition to Kazakhstan, Peru and Chile were also candidates for the organization of the 2026 competition.
