Within the framework of the Republican environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan", initiated by the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on behalf of the Akim of Zhetysai district Serik Mamytov, mass subbotniks were held in all rural districts, towns, cities of the district.
During the Subbotnik, which involved about 500 residents and local entrepreneurs, 15 pieces of equipment, the territory of Parks and flower beds, historical monuments was cleared of grass, dead trees, streets and ditches were removed from solid household waste. The roots of the trees were whitewashed and seedlings were planted.
– It is the duty of every citizen to keep the environment clean. In this regard, we invite all residents of the district to contribute to maintaining cleanliness and protecting nature. The Subbotnik will be held not only on the appointed days, but also throughout the year, when each resident will clean their yard and Circle, – said the mayor of the district.
