According to the instructions of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, this year it is planned to build 19 million square meters of housing in the country. At the same time, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy akim of Turkestan region Zulpykhar Zholdasov. It was attended by the heads of the housing sector, akims of districts and cities through video-selector communication. The Majilis discussed the issues of housing coverage of the population of the region, the issuance of housing certificates to cover the down payment on mortgages, the provision of apartments to needy citizens of socially vulnerable categories, the solution of housing issues, including the introduction of mechanisms for subsidizing rent, the implementation of new changes in the law, and discussed the current state.
"As you know, the head of state signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" "on amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on housing policy reform""." According to the new law, it is necessary to conduct explanatory work among the population. The president pays special attention to the construction of housing. Develop a project in this direction, – said Zulpykhar Sansyzbayuly.
Last year, 1,174 families were provided with communal housing. And by the end of this year, it is planned to provide 578 rental apartments and 2,078 mortgage apartments to citizens who are on the waiting list for housing. In general, since the establishment of the Turkestan region, in the period from 2018 to 2024, 7,567 families on the waiting list have been provided with communal housing. It was also noted that it is necessary to actively conduct housing construction and attract investors. The issues raised at the meeting will be included in the minutes, and the progress will be under the control of the management. Support from the state for subsidizing rent and providing preferential mortgage loans will continue.
Recall that in November last year, the president signed the law "on the reform of housing legislation". According to the new law, from May 24 this year, regardless of the category, citizens who do not have housing in their name for the last 5 years will be able to queue for housing.
