Today, on January 15, Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai held a meeting with representatives of agriculture and discussed measures for the development of the industry.
The meeting was attended by heads of government agencies, akims of cities and districts, representatives of Kazmunaygas JSC and KTZ, and farm owners.
During the four-hour meeting, issues of agricultural development, improving infrastructure, increasing subsidies and benefits, efficient use of pastures, providing telephone service to livestock settlements, and others were discussed.
The governor of the region said that all the issues raised would not be ignored and said that the necessary measures for the development of agriculture would be taken within the framework of the law.
— Agriculture is the ancestral occupation of our great—grandfathers. The problems of citizens raised will not be ignored. All proposals will be carefully considered and appropriate measures will be taken," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
The Mayor stressed that the issues raised at today's meeting will not be removed from the agenda, and also instructed the relevant managers to report monthly on the progress of work until the final solution of the problem. In addition, the head of the region gave the responsible persons a number of specific instructions.
