The issue of high-quality drinking water should be fully resolved in Bukhar-Zhyrau district this year. Work will be carried out in five villages.
Akim of the district Yerlan Kusayin spoke about the results of 2024 and plans for the current one at a briefing on the site of the Regional Communications Service.
– Providing settlements with high-quality drinking water is one of the main tasks. Today, in our area, the population's access to centralized water supply is 99%. The goal is to bring the indicator to 100% in the near future. Last year, water supply repairs were carried out in the villages of Akzhar, Astakhovka, Doskey, Trudovoye, Ayuli, Alabas and the village of Kushoky. This year, integrated water purification units will be installed in the villages of Staraya Tuzda, Stan and Sevan. Water supply networks will be repaired in the villages of Zhanaaul and on the first of May. Thus, by the end of the year, it is planned to fully provide all settlements of the district with clean drinking water," Yerlan Kusayin said.
The Auyl –El Besigi project is also helping to improve the region's infrastructure. Of the 68 settlements of the Bukhar-Zhyrau region, 46 were included in it. Last year, 19 projects were implemented. For example, a sports and recreation center was opened in the village of Gabiden Mustafin, and clubs were built in the villages of Ushtobe and Doskey. Roads were repaired in eight localities.
The project will continue to be implemented this year. 14 projects are planned. These include the FOK in the village of Kushoky, the completion of the construction of the club in the village of Kokpekty. Road repairs will be carried out in eight villages – Novouzenka, Zhanatalap, Akbel, Aktobe, Petrovka, Tsentralnoye, Kokpekty, Atameken.
