Kaz Kaspiy Hydro Agricultural Technology LLP has launched a line for the production of drip irrigation systems in Zhambyl region.
The head of the region, Yerbol Karashukeev, got acquainted with the activities of the new enterprise.
The project cost is 2.8 billion tenge. Irrigation equipment will be produced here on an area of up to 20,000 hectares per year. 30 new jobs have been created. After reaching full capacity, the number of jobs will double.
At the moment, the company is fully ready for the next growing season: farmers will be provided with equipment for irrigation of 6,000 hectares. Equipment for drilling wells was also delivered.
Erbol Karashukeyev stressed that thanks to the comprehensive support of the Head of State, systematic steps are being taken to improve the working conditions of investors in the country.

The governor of the region noted that the company will receive the necessary support. He pointed out the importance of the right price-quality ratio for farmers. The introduction of water-saving irrigation technologies will reduce water consumption and increase yields.
The head of the region also focused on the issues of attracting local residents to work.
In the region, the area of irrigated land is 181.8 thousand hectares, of which 127.3 thousand hectares, or 70.9%, are irrigated by land. Sprinkler systems are used on an area of 28.5 thousand hectares, drip irrigation - on 11.5 thousand hectares.
In 2024, water-saving technologies were introduced on an area of 15.2 thousand hectares. In 2025, it is planned to be implemented on an area of 10 thousand hectares, the total figure in the region will be increased to 64.5 thousand hectares.
