In the Zhetisu region, by the end of 2025, the level of provision with centralized water supply will be 92.5% or 331 settlements, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
According to the regional Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, 327 or 91.3% of the 358 settlements in the region are provided with centralized water supply at this stage, including 321 villages.
- Last year, 7.7 billion tenge was allocated from the national and local budgets for the implementation of 22 projects, including 9 new and 13 transitional ones, for the construction and reconstruction of water supply systems. As a result, 267 km of networks have been built, and the quality of drinking water in 14 settlements has improved. Two villages in the Alakolsky district were also connected to the centralized water supply. At the same time, projects are rolling over in 6 localities. In addition, for the implementation of 14 projects in the villages of Terekty, Konyr, Lepsinsk of Alakolsky, Zhalgyzagash of Eskeldinsky, Umtyl of Karatal, Akbastau, Tastiozek of Kerbulaksky, Kyrykkudyk, Sholakai, Kerimagash of Panfilovsky and at the Koksu station of Koksu districts, as well as in the cities of Taldykorgan and Tekeli, 3.4 billion tenge is provided from the republican budget for 2025 at this stage. As a result, 4 villages of Alakolsky, Karatal, Aksu, Panfilovsky districts with a population of 2,604 people will be provided with centralized water supply. 267 km of water supply networks will be built and reconstructed, the department said.
In general, by the end of 2025, the level of centralized water supply in the Zhetisu region will amount to 92.5% or 331 settlements.
By the way, the total length of water supply networks in the region is 3,935 km.
