Today, Deputy Akim of Turkestan region Nurbol Turashbekov met with farmers of Saryagash and Kelessky districts to discuss topical issues. The participants of the meeting shared their problems and suggestions.
During the meeting, issues related to obtaining preferential loans, applying for fertilizers and fuels and lubricants, as well as problems of water supply and irrigation channels in the districts were openly discussed.
The deputy head of the regional Department of agriculture, Ermukhan Kuralbekov, explained in detail the procedure for granting preferential loans and state support in the agro-industrial sector.
Akim of Saryagash district Arman Abdullayev spoke about the work done. In 2024, the Kultuma, 54-Tarmak, and Siphon canals, as well as the Zhemis Koity and Shengeldi drainage structures, were repaired at the expense of the district budget. With the help of three pieces of equipment purchased through the Turan-su State Enterprise on installment terms, 56 water bodies with a length of 172 kilometers were mechanically cleaned. Currently, repair work has begun on the 47-Tarmak canal with the allocation of funds from the district budget to increase water supply.
Design and estimate documentation has already been prepared for the overhaul of the Shoshym municipal canals (in the rural districts of Kurkeles, Kokterek and Teguisshil, Saryagash district) and Shanshar-kulok (in the rural district of Zhibek Zholy, Kelessky district), which has passed state expertise.
Nurbol Turashbekov stressed that all the issues and proposals raised will be studied within the framework of the legislation, and appropriate decisions will be made on them.
