Effective measures are being implemented in Shymkent in the direction of social support and labor market development.
By the end of 2024, several large-scale projects and programs aimed at improving the lives of citizens have been implemented.
The number of candace increases. In the metropolis, 1,275 people plan to receive the status of candace in 2024, and 826 citizens have received the status of Candace by the end of the year. This helps to improve the social situation, especially for compatriots who have moved to the southern and eastern regions of the country.
The implementation of the Bastau Business project, implemented in order to develop entrepreneurship in the city, has achieved significant results.
Within the framework of this project, 3,383 people have been registered who intend to complete the training process and open their own business. Of these, 2,612 have completed their studies, and 556 have started their own businesses.
In order to reduce unemployment, 7,166 citizens have been sent to subsidized jobs by the end of 2024. Thanks to this program, 5,377 people have been employed, of which 3,500 citizens have been permanently employed.
It is planned to create 23,342 jobs in Shymkent, and 21,609 people are employed at 15 enterprises.
The short-term vocational training program has also played an important role in increasing the level of employment. Professional training of 1,110 people is planned for 2024, and 670 people are being trained. Of these, 393 people have completed their studies, and 297 people have been permanently employed.
