Akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov got acquainted with the projects of digital transformation of the region during his visit to KSU "Smart Aqmola". During the visit, a presentation of key information systems aimed at the digital transformation of various fields of activity took place.
Magzhan Yerzhan, Head of the Department of Digitalization and Archives of the Akmola region, spoke about key initiatives aimed at developing digital technologies in the region. He noted that digital transformation covers various areas — public administration, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare and education. As part of this work, geographic information systems, artificial intelligence, and automated platforms are being implemented to facilitate effective resource management and increase process transparency.
"To date, a geographic information map of farmland has been developed and tested, which allows real-time analysis of data on the condition of land plots and their rational use. In addition, the Situation Center is actively testing, which uses AI technologies to predict risks and offer solutions for more effective management of the region," he said.
Akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov stressed that the introduction of digital technologies plays a key role in improving the efficiency of public administration and the quality of life of the population.
"Digitalization is not just a modernization of processes, but a strategic tool that will increase the transparency of public administration, speed up the decision—making process and effectively use the resources of the region," he said.
Following the meeting, instructions were given for the further development of digital initiatives, focusing on the need to implement advanced solutions.
