Within the framework of the state program "Business Roadmap 2025", about 1,000 small and medium-sized businesses were supported for a total amount of 41.6 billion tenge. Of these, 31.4 billion tenge were provided to 634 entrepreneurs with interest rate subsidies, and 318 entrepreneurs' projects received guarantees in the amount of 10.2 billion tenge. This was announced by Akim of Atyrau region Serik Shapkenov at a press conference at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, the national project "Auyl Amanaty", aimed at improving the well-being of the rural population, made it possible to implement the unique ideas of SMEs in the region. This year, 761 million tenge has been allocated from the regional budget for these purposes, 83 projects are being implemented.

– The projects contribute to the creation of new jobs in rural areas, are aimed at increasing the incomes of residents and strengthening the economy of the region. 50 projects are aimed at the development of animal husbandry, 30 – to support small and medium–sized businesses, three - to develop agriculture. Along with this, as a result of the implementation of three major investment projects this year, 90 new jobs have been created, S. Shapkenov said.

Next year, it is planned to implement four new investment projects with a total cost of 26.2 billion tenge. At the same time, another 187 jobs will be created.
