The Yntymak-Turkestan club was established under the Department of Religious Affairs of the Turkestan region. Today, the club hosted a round table on the topic "Religious stability is the basis of the country's development." The event was attended by Deputy akim of the region Yertay Altaev, representatives of various religious denominations and members of the club.
– The role of each of you in ensuring stability in the religious sphere is very significant. The interfaith harmony and peace that exist in our country are the result of respect for the traditional spiritual values of the Kazakh people and a balanced state policy in the field of religion. I would like to convey to patrons and entrepreneurs who build mosques that there are other virtuous deeds. The construction of social facilities and the development of infrastructure for the benefit of society and the country is also an important mission. In addition, attention should be paid to popularizing the culture of commemoration, taking into account traditions, so as not to create social pressure on families and avoid excesses. I am sure that together with you we will achieve significant results," said Yertai Kenzhebekuly.
The aim of the club is to maintain and strengthen interfaith and interreligious dialogue, develop mutual understanding, respect and partnership, as well as strengthen the unity and cohesion of society.
During the meeting, leaders and leaders of religious denominations discussed activities aimed at preserving the unity of the country and ways to solve religious problems in society.
It should be noted that currently 773 religious associations representing six different faiths operate in the territory of the Turkestan region.
