In the Turkestan region, work continues on the employment of persons registered with the probation service. The results of 2024 and plans for the current year were discussed at a meeting chaired by Deputy Akim of the region Beysenbai Tazhibayev. The meeting was attended by representatives of responsible departments and law enforcement agencies. The agenda includes the results of the analysis, identified offenses, preventive measures, current problems and ways to solve them.
— In 2024, the regional Prosecutor's Office conducted monitoring of employment and compliance with the rule of law in relation to persons registered with the probation service. Reports have been submitted to address the identified deficiencies, but the results remain unsatisfactory. There was no control. The allocated quotas were not used for their intended purpose. In some areas, violations are repeated and even more frequent. The perpetrators have been brought to disciplinary responsibility. Stop working for the sake of formal indicators. This year we will strengthen the requirements. I am instructing you to re-analyze the social status of the registered persons, as there are those among them who do not need social support. It is also necessary to identify those interested in obtaining micro-loans and grants and compile lists of them. All structures, law enforcement agencies, akimats of districts and cities should work together and fully,– Beisenbai Dauletuly stressed.
According to the head of the regional department for the coordination of employment and social programs, Asia Temirbayeva, in 2024, more than 4,300 people were registered with the probation service. Of these, about 1,700 were removed from the register at the end of the term, and 579 people moved to other regions. As of January 1, 2025, 2,040 people are registered, of whom 1,549 are employed. Last year, 90 employers provided 131 quota places, which allowed the plan to be fully implemented. 44 job fairs were organized in the region with the participation of 683 people. The head of the department added that in 2025, the revision of recommendations on setting quotas for jobs will continue.
