Specialists of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Construction and Architecture JSC continue work on conducting static tests on the territory of CHPP-2 in Almaty.
Control tests are conducted to determine the physical and mechanical characteristics of soils, such as their bearing capacity and resistance to deformation, as well as potential risks associated with sedimentation or erosion.
These tests are necessary to confirm the accepted design decision and ensure the reliability of pile foundations as part of the large-scale modernization of CHP-2, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of the plant and switch to natural gas combustion.
