Today, the final stage of the Winter Drift Show is taking place at the ASP Arena, a tourist, sports, and entertainment complex in Konaev.
The show kicked off on January 16 at the largest ice rink in Central Asia, covering an area of 20,600 square meters. Drivers from around the world have gathered for the competition, and comfortable amenities have been arranged for spectators, including a restaurant and complimentary hot tea and coffee.
The event boasts a prize pool of $1,000 for individual winners and $2,000 for team champions. Following the competition, spectators can enjoy an AFTERPARTY headlined by popular artists Nigativ and V$XV PRiNCE.
In addition to the sporting event, the Konaev Akimat, in collaboration with the Departments of Education, Sports, and Social Protection, has organized a free ice-skating session for 500 children, creating a festive atmosphere for the city's younger residents.
ASP Arena is one of Konaev's key investment projects, offering unique opportunities for the development of tourism and motorsports.
The complex features a hotel, a restaurant, a go-kart track, and a grandstand with a capacity of 3,200 spectators. Spanning a total area of 63 hectares, the project represents an investment of 8.1 billion tenge. According to investors, an average day at the complex—including accommodations, access to the ice arena, dining at the restaurant, and go-karting—costs about 35,000 tenge, making it affordable for most visitors.
It is worth noting that last summer, the ASP Arena hosted a drift show and a large-scale rock festival, both of which became standout events of the year.
