The grain terminal in Beineu district has resumed operation after a long break. The company, which has suspended its work since 2018, has released its first products today.
Currently, 10 wagons, or 700 tons of wheat, have arrived at the terminal. Flour is produced from 75 percent of the grain, and bran is produced from 25 percent.
Akim of Beineu district Rakhymzhan Shalbayev and chairman of the district maslikhat Ardak Borash were among the first to get acquainted with the work of the flour mill, and the launch of the resumed enterprise was blessed by Deputy Chairman of the district council of veterans Kadyr Sarsen.
- Today is a historic moment. The grain terminal, which has been idle for a long time, has been put back into operation. We would like to thank the citizens and specialists of the company who have done a great job. We hope that our factory will not stop anymore and the Beineu Uny brand, produced in Kazakhstan, will become known to the world," said Akim of the district Rakhymzhan Shalbayev.
The re-commissioning of the grain terminal was provided by Eurasia Trans Logistics LLP together with the Kaspiy Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation.
The Beineu Grain Terminal is a strategically important facility located in the Mangystau region. Its total area is 26 hectares and it is considered a promising logistics hub with its own rolling stock and an 8-kilometer railway providing direct access to the Kazakh-Turkmen border.
The terminal's capacity allows simultaneous storage of 100,000 tons of grain and production of 320 tons of flour and 80 tons of bran per day. After the modernization, these figures will be increased to 400 tons of flour and 240 tons of animal feed, respectively.
