A trilateral memorandum was signed between the Akimat of Mangystau region, local producers of products and five large regional retail chains.

According to the document, retail chains commit to allocate more retail locations for local domestic manufacturers and actively use the "Made in Kazakhstan" label.

Also, large retail chains will pay for the delivery of products from local manufacturers within 14 days.

Among the major local retail chains that have signed the agreement are Anvar, Dina, Altyn Food, Leader, as well as Aman, Dana and Nur.

"Last year, we signed memoranda with 12 local manufacturers, and this year their number has increased to 23. We pay special attention to supporting local producers. To ensure food security, in general, it is very important to support domestic producers and increase food production," said Dastan Murataliev, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Mangystau region.

The participants of the memorandum are such well-known local producers as Maga-Bread, Bereket-F, Agargan, Aktau Agro, Tuman Shah, Adil Dairy Plant, Korkem Alem, Zhanaozen Dairy Plant, Brick Center, Millina Food Production", "Nataly Company", "Aktau – fish company", "Aquo Ideal", "Keruen Drinking water", "Keremet FOOD", "Doctor Agro" LLP, IP "Abdrakhmanov", IP "Rysbek", IP "Enbek", IP "Kaynar", IP "JIBEK".
