The Victory Day was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Akim of the Turkestan region, Beisenbai Tazhibayev A meeting was held to prepare for the celebration of the 80th anniversary. It was attended by industry leaders and employees responsible for the organization.

During the meeting The regional action plan "Great Victory: A tribute to heroism, an example for generations" was developed and suggestions and comments were shared.

Beisenbai Dauletovich informed that the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory will be celebrated on a large scale this year and instructed responsible persons to submit a letter of recommendation. He instructed to propose new projects aimed at promoting the heroes of the Soviet Union and ideological modernization. He also warned that it is necessary to take care of financing in advance.

This year, the Great Patriotic War 93 events are planned in the region to pay tribute to the heroes, immortalize their heroism for posterity, and instill a sense of pride and responsibility for the fate of the country, peace and stability in the state.

It should be noted that there are 9 veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Turkestan region. The veterans are provided with appropriate support from the state.
