On the occasion of the professional holiday, officers responsible for organizing the moral and psychological support of military training and combat activities, working with military families, veterans and youth gathered at the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The creation of the Institute of deputy commanders for educational and ideological work is connected with the release on January 19, 1993 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the introduction of the corresponding position in the Armed Forces.
The solemn meeting was attended by officers of educational structures of the Ground Forces, Air Defense Forces, military educational institutions, departments of the heads of Logistics and Armament, the Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, the Main Military Medical Directorate, the Main Directorate of the Military Police, the Central Sports Club of the Army, military units stationed in the Akmola regional garrison, and their family members.
Those present were congratulated on the occasion by Deputy Minister of Defense Major General Shaikh-Hassan Zhazykbayev, who noted the contribution of veterans to the formation of army traditions and military-patriotic education of young people.
– Ideology and military-patriotic education, moral and psychological stability and issues of social security for military personnel, work with veterans and youth are just the outlines of the tasks you perform. You are doing a lot of work to unite army teams, protect the honor and dignity of military personnel, and strengthen the image of military service. No event on the scale of the Armed Forces can do without you," Major General Shaikh–Hasan Zhazykbayev emphasized the importance of the activities of officer educators.
He also informed his colleagues about upcoming events in which officers of educational structures will be involved.
– Last year marked the 100th anniversary of the glorious sons of the Kazakh people Sagadat Nurmagambetov and Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev. This is an equally eventful period in this regard. The 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is approaching. In commemoration of the centenary of Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova, the International military-patriotic Youth Gathering "Aybyn" will be held in Aktobe region, where she was born, the Deputy minister outlined the key events of the year.
The event ended with a festive concert prepared by the creative team of the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
