On January 19, 1993, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Deputy commanders for educational and socio-legal work in the Armed Forces of the country was founded.
In honor of the 32nd anniversary of this event, the Department of Defense of the Turkestan region organized a solemn event at the scientific universal library "Farab".
The event was attended by representatives of local military authorities, veterans of the Armed Forces, participants in hostilities and internationalists, military personnel of the defense brigade, pupils of the military-patriotic movement "Zhas Sarbaz", as well as representatives of the akimat. The speakers presented letters of thanks and certificates of honor to the current educators.
Lieutenant Colonel Zhandos Kulderbayev, Deputy Head of the Department of Defense of the Turkestan region for educational and ideological work, noted that today educational and ideological work covers several areas. Among them are information and educational, cultural and leisure, and military-patriotic work. These areas contribute to strengthening military and legal discipline, as well as maintaining a high moral and psychological climate in military teams.
At the end of the solemn event, a festive concert was held with the participation of artists from the House of Culture of the city of Turkestan.
