Yessenov Technopark has opened in Mangystau to train IT specialists and support startups. To implement the educational program, the famous French teacher Nicolas Sadirac, the author of the revolutionary Ecole 42 and 01 Edu methods, which changed the approach to IT education around the world, was invited.
The Ecole 42 program is known for its unique teacher-free learning format and traditional lectures. Instead, students work on real projects as part of a collective interaction, which allows them to dive deeper into practice.
Based on these principles, Yessenov Technopark will implement the 01 Edu program, a two—year course aimed at teaching advanced areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, game development and cybersecurity. The Nicolas Sadirak Educational School was opened with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and the Astana Hub International Technopark.
Yesenov University will be the first university in Kazakhstan to implement this program. The technopark is equipped with 90 high-performance computers, which provides students with access to modern technologies and allows them to develop projects that meet the requirements of the international labor market. Graduates of the program will be competitive not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the international labor market, gaining in-demand skills and access to innovative technologies. Yessenov Technopark is an important step in the development of the IT sector and technological entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, opening up new prospects for youth and business.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Digital Development and NSDS Digital Investments signed a memorandum on strategic partnership for the development of digital and AI education in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The memorandum was signed by Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Jaslan Madiyev and co-founder of NSDS Digital Investments Nicolas Sadirak.
The partnership, in which Astana Hub is a key participant, is aimed at developing a network of innovative programming schools "Tomorrow School" based on the 01Edu platform, creating an innovative AI curriculum, promoting Kazakhstani talents in the international arena, as well as knowledge exchange and participation of both sides in various events.
Tomorrow School is the first peer—to-peer artificial intelligence school in Kazakhstan, launched by the Astana Hub Technopark in October this year as part of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of artificial intelligence and digitalization. Tomorrow School operates exclusively on the basis of the 01 Edu platform and offers a unique opportunity to receive free training in the field of AI, without requiring prior programming skills.
