Another staff meeting was held under the chairmanship of Akim of Ulytau region Dastan Ryspekov. It addressed issues on the results of socio-economic development in 2024, public procurement for 2025 and the implementation of the environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan".
On the first issue, the head of the Department of Economics, Nurlan Abdukalimov, made a report. The akim of the region also heard reports from akims and heads of departments who allowed a decrease in the established indicators and did not fulfill the annual plan by the end of 2024.
The head of the region also criticized the work on attracting investments to the region, noting the lack of coordination of business and industry management with enterprises and regional akimats.
The governor of the region noted that the delay in competitive procedures in the framework of public procurement has a negative impact on the implementation of projects, adding that this year this process will be under strict control. At the same time, administrators of budget programs are instructed to hold timely contests in accordance with the annual plan, improve the skills of responsible employees and organize training seminars.
At a staff meeting, Akim of Ulytau region Dastan Ryspekov, summing up the results of socio-economic development in 2024, reprimanded the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry, akims of Satpayev, Zhanaarkinsky and Ulytau districts, as well as the mayor of Zhezkazgan for delaying the work on the elimination of illegal landfills.
