Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Pakistan are Interested in Strengthening Cooperation

Mashhad, December 3, 2024 – Within the framework of the 28th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, expressing satisfaction with the positive dynamics of high-level contacts, as well as exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral structures.
Having positively assessed the results of the political consultations held in November this year in Islamabad, the interlocutors reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas of interaction.
The meeting also focused on the prospects for the developing trade and economic ties, highlighting the important role of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation.
