Within the framework of the national environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", environmental measures are being continued in the Ulytau region.
On January 21, 2025, environmental actions for various segments of the population and directions were planned and held in all regions of the Ulytau region. The main goal of all actions is to draw public attention to the problem of pollution, environmental protection, cleanliness and the formation of an ecological culture in society.
In the city of Zhezkazgan, active youth carried out snow removal on the territory of the Youth Resource Center.
"Taza Kazakhstan has become a tradition that unites people, gives them another reason to do a good and useful deed, to show their concern for nature, for their hometown," said Saken Kairatov, director of the Zhezkazgan Youth Resource Center.
In the Zhanaarkinsky district, the youth also did not stand aside, they carried out snow removal work at the Mangilik El alley, which is located in the district center.
Open lessons and class hours on environmental topics such as "Taza audan", "Taza Kazakhstan", "Menin taza kalam" were organized in educational organizations of all cities and districts of the region. The importance of caring for the environment and the need to protect nature was explained to the students.
In the city of Karazhal, a drawing contest of students on the theme "Tabigatty ayalaiyk!" was held in secondary schools.
In order to increase the environmental literacy of the population, young people and volunteers from Zhanaarkinsky and Ulytau districts distributed brochures and booklets to residents. They gave residents advice on preserving natural resources and preventing litter in public places, recycling waste, and saving energy and water.,
Since the beginning of Taza Kazakhstan, a total of more than 148 thousand people and 1,317 teams have participated in environmental actions. 1997 units of specialized equipment were also involved, as a result, 3,493 tons of garbage were removed, 264 enterprises and 224 social facilities were involved.
