The head of the Turkestan region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, discussed the progress of the construction of the rowing canal and listened to proposals from experts on projects aimed at turning its surroundings into a tourist center.
Italian architect Domenico Rotolo presented his plans for the development of tourism, talking about the concept of water parks, beaches and hotels designed for family holidays and attracting tourists. He also proposed the construction of parks, bike paths and other ideas. He expressed confidence that the rowing channel will be able to host international competitions. Turkish architects who participated in the meeting via video link also shared their proposals, including the construction of a center that will operate all year round, serving both locals and tourists.
The head of the region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, instructed responsible officials to carefully study the projects and negotiate with potential investors. Work on the transformation of Turkestan into a tourist center will continue.
