Nuralkhan Kusherov, Akim of the Turkestan region, criticized Kazavtozhol and issued a warning to the organization's representatives in the region. The head of the region instructed to promptly eliminate defects on the roads and noted that the sanitary condition of road service facilities does not meet the requirements. He also stressed the need for high-quality maintenance of roads in winter.
The meeting, chaired by the head of the region, discussed the condition of roads and plans for their improvement. Problematic issues were identified, and clear instructions were given to those responsible. The governor of the region noted that there are many problems in this area, and requested a report from responsible structures.
Reports were made by Kuatzhan Zhumatayev, Head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the Turkestan region, and Yerbol Primbekov, head of the branch of KazAvtoZhol JSC in the Turkestan region.
In 2023, the share of local roads in good and satisfactory condition in the region should reach 95%. In 2025, it is planned to build and repair 202 facilities (1,103 kilometers of roads and streets). By the end of this year, it is planned to complete work on 123 facilities with a length of 547 kilometers. 89 facilities will be repaired in 140 settlements within the framework of the Auyl–El Besigi program.
The work will focus on improving quality. Control over the performance of work and the materials used is carried out by both the responsible authorities and the Turkestan branch of the RSE "National Center for Quality of Road Assets". Objects with non-conforming products are not accepted, and the identified deficiencies are eliminated through judicial proceedings.
- The main requirement is to strengthen control over road works and strictly monitor the quality. Each of us must take the most responsible approach to our duties. High demands are placed on the relevant departments and road services," emphasized Nuralkhan Kusherov.
The Mayor instructed to systematically and accurately carry out work to ensure safe traffic, monitor the condition of roads in cities and districts, and strictly monitor their maintenance. To prevent the destruction of highways, he ordered the installation of weighing complexes at mining sites and to ensure compliance with legislative norms.
