In his Message, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the need for special attention to the development of fisheries. The number of entrepreneurs interested in this field is increasing in the Turkestan region. One of them is a resident of the village of Aksukent in the Sairam district, entrepreneur Kaldykul Ermekova. She received a gratuitous state grant for the development of fisheries and purchased the necessary equipment. In June 2024, she presented her business project and, by the decision of the commission, received a grant of 1.5 million tenge.
Today, the woman is successfully engaged in entrepreneurial activity. He grows trout, carp and sturgeon at home.
– Now, the government creates many opportunities for those who want to start or expand a business. A gratuitous state grant is a prime example of this. This is a great help for those who do not have the means to start a business or do not have enough. I am very glad that I was able to start my own business thanks to this support. It was the beginning of a big change for me," the woman shared.
In the near future, she plans to receive a plot of land in the rural district of Zhibek Zholy and create an artificial lake. Thus, it expects to increase the volume of fish grown to 50 thousand tons.
