Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev said at a Government meeting that within the framework of the republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", changes have been made to the Standard Rules for Landscaping the territories of cities and towns. He noted that within the framework of this document, the conceptual framework has been adjusted, new terms have been introduced, and measures for the organization of landscaping and maintenance of infrastructure facilities in settlements have been regulated in more detail. In particular, priorities have been identified for pedestrians, the disabled, and cycling, as well as requirements for the territory for walking and cleaning pets, installing and maintaining toilets, maintaining roads, and the appearance of buildings and structures.
"In order to strengthen the measures taken on the basis of the Model Rules, regional rules for landscaping have been approved, which have also been expanded to take into account the specifics of each region," Kanat Sharlapayev stressed.
In addition, as part of the improvement of regional policy, a methodological document "The Standard of integrated Urban Development" has been developed. The standard serves as a guide for the introduction of high-quality and affordable residential and multifunctional buildings, as well as for the creation of attractive and comfortable public spaces. The document was sent to all local executive bodies for guidance in the development of detailed planning projects for the development and development of urban areas.
Kazakhstan to reduce emissions into the atmosphere of industrial enterprises
Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapayev reported at a Government meeting on measures to reduce the negative environmental impact of industrial enterprises. He said that in accordance with the Environmental Code, 17 enterprises in the industries supervised by the agency must implement the best available technologies, which will reduce the impact on the environment and improve working conditions for employees of enterprises.
"As of today, 5 of them have been approved and the phased implementation of programs has begun. It is also planned for the current year to adopt three more programs by enterprises of the metallurgical industry. In addition, there is an active participation of industrial enterprises in improving the environmental situation in the regions, including reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere," Kanat Sharlapayev said.
It was noted that enterprises annually participate in events aimed at greening urban and regional territories, as well as improving settlements.
