Under the leadership of Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, an expanded meeting of the regional akimat was held, during which the results of the socio-economic development of the region for 2024 were summed up and key directions for 2025 were identified as part of the instructions of the Head of State, announced in the Message.
The year 2024 was not easy for the region: the strongest flood had a serious impact on the development of the region. All efforts were aimed at restoring the infrastructure and providing assistance to the victims. As a result, 700 new houses were built in the new Birlik neighborhood and 1,394 apartments were purchased.
Despite the difficulties, the economy of North Kazakhstan region grew by 120% at the end of the year. Thus, the President's instructions to achieve 6% economic growth have been fulfilled. All major sectors of the economy showed positive dynamics.
Crop production showed particularly high results, where growth amounted to almost 50%, and the volume of gross output reached 749 billion tenge. This became possible due to the large harvest that North Kazakhstan farmers have harvested.
