Kazakhstan will present its pavilion
For the first time in 40 years, Kazakhstan will present a national pavilion at one of the largest international educational exhibitions, the Bett Show. The event will take place from January 22 to January 24, 2025 in London, United Kingdom.
What is the Bett Show?
The Bett Show (British Education Training and Technology Show) is an important event in the field of education. It brings together representatives of educational institutions, EdTech companies, universities, schools and developers of educational solutions on one platform. About 30,000 people from 130 countries attend the event annually to share experiences, present innovations, and discuss global educational trends.
The role of Kazakhstan as an academic hub
The central theme of the pavilion will be the development of Kazakhstan as a regional academic hub. Today's educational ecosystem in Kazakhstan is stimulating a growing interest in learning opportunities. There are already about 30,000 international students studying in the country.
Cooperation and new programs
Doctoral programs have been launched in Kazakhstan in cooperation with leading foreign universities, and scientific research is being conducted. Large corporations also contribute to the implementation of artificial intelligence programs aimed at developing digital competencies.
The "Study in Kazakhstan" project
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, will present the "Study in Kazakhstan" project, which will strengthen Kazakhstan's position as a regional academic hub. The opening of campuses of leading British universities, such as Coventry University Kazakhstan, expands academic opportunities, improves the quality of education and the internationalization of universities.
"For the first time, Kazakhstan participates in one of the world's largest educational exhibitions, the Bett Show, as a national pavilion, providing an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the development of our country as a regional academic hub. Today, about 30,000 foreign students study in Kazakhstan, and new educational programs are being implemented jointly with leading international universities. These achievements confirm the international recognition of Kazakhstan's education system and its openness to the world," Sayasat Nurbek said in his speech.
