Fish farming continues to develop in Ordabasi district, thanks to the AK ORDA B fish farm, located on the banks of the Arys River near the village of Shubar.
The total area of the farm is 4.5 hectares, of which 1.3 hectares are occupied by a pond, into which 20 thousand carp fry were released. The project cost was 20 million tenge. Entrepreneur Bakhytzhan Bekbosynov, who grows 60 thousand tons of carp fry annually, plans to start selling his products on the market next year. At the moment, the farm provides stable work to three local residents.
According to the entrepreneur, local authorities will provide appropriate assistance in various aspects of his business development. In the future, he plans to expand the farm by digging out 3 more hectares of ponds.
It is worth noting that fish farming is actively developing in Ordabasinsky district and has great potential.
